Drawing hands holding something is a as much of a challenge as foreshortening because of the way the hand deforms around the object. This one came out pretty good, probably because I see my hand this way all the time.

So I was able to save this painting. I tweaked the face, the lips, the eyes, pretty much everything. But I think that in the end it came out pretty good.
