So I'm going to start doing five speed paintings every week. I've needed to do more original stuff so this is what I decided to do. Once I get more comfortable with how my colors and composition are coming out I'll turn one into a finished piece. 

Here's the first. I was going for a creepy vibe here like there's something mystical and evil going on in that building on the mountain and the hero is going to go up there and try to stop it. I like the way the clouds turned out the way they radiate from the building and I like the way the lights came out. What I think I need to work on is atmospheric perspective and using fewer brush strokes.
