This is a copy from an artist by the name of James Wolf called The Abandoned Mine. My intent was to learn about the composition and lighting. Two things that I struggle with especially when doing environment paintings. This took about three hours to complete and while its not a perfect reproduction of the original I think that I learned a bunch while doing it so I feel like it was time well spent.
