Damn muscles take forever to paint. By the time I get done with one section my time is up and the rest of the figure is left incomplete. Other than that minor hiccup I think that this figure came out okay, some issues with the legs and the hands but by this point I knew that I would be spending a lot of time on the muscles so I rushed through them.
An alternate take on Zatanna. I never liked that she was a stage magician as well as a real magician, I'm sure a the time it was funny or clever but to me it seems kind of lame. "We have a magician lady what should her day job be" " How about a magician?" "Perfect". I pictured this version of Zatanna as being more of a expert on magical beings and curses. Her adventures would involve her being a vet/doctor/detective combo and her home would be filled with various creatures she was caring for and a ton of anti-curse amulets. She would have a dog that was a Cwn Annwn from Welsh mythology.
Just some gestures done from my imagination. To a couple I added some distinguishing characteristics.

I think that this figure came out good. Not great but good, I think that another ten or fifteen minutes would have made it really good.
A pirate. A quick painting that took me about two hours.

This guy is to uneven for me his hip and torso are pretty far along while his head, arms and legs are barely started. I need to watch out for that in the future but what is there looks good so I won;t complain to much.
This started out as a redesign of the big sisters from Bioshock as if Rapture hadn't collapsed but they quickly became there own thing I also tried to do a fish man in the corner as maybe an antagonist or ally to the other character.
I don't draw a lot of vehicles so this was me trying to come up with a sort of under water motorcycle. I think the one second from the bottom is my favorite.

I'm going to try to paint more male figures from now on. It seems like I've been painting one guy for every ten women so I think I should even that up a bit. And to start I have a very mediocre figure. This guy need about another twenty minutes of work before he would be good.
A very quick painting of a car and for just an hour and working with a subject I'm not used to I think that it came out alright.

Aside from the legs needing some work I think that this figure isn't to bad. Given another ten of fifteen minutes I could have fixed that and worked on the hands and had a really good figure.
After a bad week a friend bought me a copy of The Binding of Isaac to cheer me up. So here are some sketches of characters from the game. On top is Isaac at the start of the game, below him is Monstro on the left and The Duke of Flies on the left, and at the bottom is what Isaac looked like when I finished the game for the first time.

I think that this is one of the best figures I've done while I've been doing these gestures. Her hair and hands could have used some more work but the body itself came out really good and the color of the light gave the figure an interesting color. If it weren't for the reddish hue on her arms and nipples she might look like a marble statue.
A very quick landscape study that took an hour. I was trying to get the color transition just right for a sunset. I think that parts of it came out good, but I think that the clouds could use more work.

The color on this one was kind of tough because of the two different light sources that were different colors. There is room for improvement here I think that this came out alright, I would like have been able to spent another half hour on this figure to get it just right.
When I was drawing this I had been watching a lot of Deep Space Nine so this character was pretty heavily inspired by Ezri Dax. I pictured this character being a mercenary with a sort of mean attitude like Jayne from Firefly. I have got to do something with all these characters at some point.
