Gestures and Vilppu copies. Getting into some more detailed stuff here.

Alas poor Yorick. I knew him Horatio. There's the only line I know from Hamlet. This is the same skull from the yesterday from a different angle. I like this one but I think that I'm going to only do one more and them move on to one of my biggest weaknesses, PERSPECTIVE! Dun-dun-duuuuuuuun!

More basic lighting stuff now with SKULLS! I have a plastic replica skull that I used for this so the texture on this is shinier than it would be on real bone but other than that I like how this came out especially for a one hour study.

A crocodile dragon that took about 3-4 hours to do. I like it for the most part. It's not great but I think that there's some good stuff happening here.

An apple. Trying to get the texture right and get the lighting right. Also just in case anyone cares I was eating this apple while I painted this. I'm not sure why but I found that really funny when I was painting this.

A ball I made out of my kneaded eraser. I'm trying to do some more basic studies to go with some of my speed paintings and longer studies.

A quick painting of a train. I'm not very good at painting mechanical things so this was a nice exercise and I think that it came out pretty good. I tried to combine a bullet train and a steam engine to give it a unique feel and I think that I got what I was looking for.
