Gestures and cylinder people.

Forgot to post because I was at work then came home got to painting and lost track of time. so two posts today. I'm posting these two paintings together because they showed me what I REALLY NEED to work on. PERSPECTIVE. Both of these where such a struggle and look like crap because of how much trouble the perspective caused me. So I will be taking care of that in the very near future.

A character inspired by Detective Chimp from the Shadowpact comics. I like the way he came out even if some of the details are kind of loose.

A Giant tower in the desert overlooking a canyon. I feel like this is one of those pieces that would have benefited from about 10 - 15 more hours of work. I like where it was going and the composition isn't bad but there was too much stuff that I couldn't get the level of detail that I would have liked.

A quick painting that came out pretty good for something so quick. It was inspired by me thinking about what would happen if Hedy Lamarr became a super villain.

I had a double yesterday and wasn't feeling good when I got home so I didn't post so I'll double post today.

A Kaiju inspired by a snapping turtle and an octopus. Done shortly after I saw the movie Pacific Rim. I like the way that this came out and I think that I will take this guy further once I get the chance.

Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies. This took about an hour and I like how this came out for the most part although I think that her eyes came out a little large.
