 Gestures and Danger Girl copies.
Goblin mage for the game I'm working on. He was fun to draw, I like the attitude I got on the top right portrait.

Gestures and Danger Girl.
An enemy for the game Sorcerers Path. Intro level enemy and pretty standard fantasy enemy. I wanted him to have a manic look to him, like he loves nothing more than to turn people into pincushions. I think the toothy smile does it.

 Bridgeman copies and Danger Girl.
Some concepts done for a game I'm working on called Sorcerers Path. This is the main character Volya. The first was inspired by the farm boy look ala Luke Skywalker or Hiccup. Next I went with a monk kind of look to match the second design of his father. Finally I looked to the Lord of the Rings for inspiration going with the Bilbo and Frodo look and that was the look we went with.

Gestures and Danger Girl.
Some concepts done for a game I'm working on called Sorcerers Path. This is Cale the main antagonist for the game. For the first one I tried for a sharp geometric design with the clothes and gave his face a handsome and sharp look. Next I tried for a more traditional fantasy wizard look and a mildly manic face. Finally I went with a very evil and sick looking design like the power he wields has corrupted him both mentally and physically. We decided that the first design best but we decided to give him the staff from the third design.

Gestures and Danger Girl.
Some concepts done for a game I'm working on called Sorcerers Path. This is the father of the main character and is the leader of an order that protects the power of light. I was given a very vague description of the character, he needed a long beard, he needed to be old, and he needed to project authority and wisdom. The first design was based loosely off Mustrum Ridcully from the Discworld series of books. Next I wanted to get a look that would say that he was the head of a religious order so I made him thin and kept his clothes simple. Finally I went for the Celtic chieftain look and I think I hit the right balance of strength, authority and wisdom.

Gestures and Danger Girl. So I was out of town last week and due to the crazy snow storms in Fort Wayne, Chicago and Seattle I didn't get home until yesterday and was tired and felt like crap so I forgot to post. There will be a double post some time this week when I get everything sorted out.

 Gestures and David Finch tutorial.
Page 6. I really like how this came out and I think that I've found the sweet spot with detail, speed and quality.

 Gestures and David Finch tutorial.
Page 06 pencils. I'm pretty happy with the way this came out and I'm even happier with the inks that I'll post tomorrow.
